This is "Nights in White Satin" as performed by Moody Blues.
I found this today while stumbling. This song has great lyrics, great subtext, and overall great sound. This makes me feel at ease when I listen to it, but also I am able to tell whats going on in the song without any previous knowledge.
One of my favorite classic rock songs of all time. Excellent choice, good sir.
